Jet Airways increases flights on India - UK route

Jet Airways, India’s international airline, will add a third daily flight from London Heathrow to Mumbai (pictured in a very flattering image!). Effective October 29 2017, the third daily flight on the London-Mumbai route is one of 122 additional weekly international flights being added to their winter schedule.  This, along with new non-stop flights connecting Bengaluru and Chennai to the airline’s gateways in Amsterdam and Paris respectively will give guests a greater choice of connections between Europe, North America and India.

The new daytime service between Mumbai and London, 9W 116 will depart from Mumbai at 0925 hrs to arrive in London Heathrow at 1355 hrs (local time). On its return, 9W 115 will leave London Heathrow at 1555 hrs (local time) and land in Mumbai at 0620 hrs. The airline will use its biggest aircraft – Boeing 777-300ER with a three-class configuration including its First Class Private Suites, 180° lie-flat beds for Business travellers and Economy seating.

This new flight will enable Jet Airways to offer onward connectivity over London Heathrow to North America with codeshare partners Delta and Virgin Atlantic to cities like Atlanta, Boston, Detroit, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, Newark, New York, Philadelphia, Portland, San Francisco, Seattle, Salt Lake City and Washington DC.
