Thai Airways changes its Frequent Flyer miles rules
When purchasing a ticket with THAI, the booking class associated with the paid fare determines the miles earned. On all THAI flights from 01 December 2016 Royal Orchid Plus members will earn miles in Economy Class as per the ticketed booking class as follows:

Miles are earned with the new accrual structure on all flown THAI flights from 01 December 2016 onwards, regardless if the booking and/or ticketing date is prior to 01 December 2016. There are no changes to mileage accrual on THAI in Royal First Class, Royal Silk Class or Premium Economy Class.
Remember that discounted and promotional Economy Class fares are great value, but are not eligible for full mileage accrual or no mileage accrual.
