New flights direct to the home of Father Christmas

Low-cost airline Norwegian Air has today launched a new direct service from London Gatwick to Lapland, Finland's northernmost province, just in time for Christmas.

It’s currently the UK’s only scheduled direct flight to Lapland’s capital, Rovaniemi, the ‘home’ of Father Christmas. There are two weekly flights departing on a Friday and Monday with prices starting from £69.90 one-way. Rovaniemi offers outdoor adventure activities such as snowmobiling, as well as the chance to see the Northern Lights.
