Singapore team up with SAS in Moscow

On May 30, Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) and Singapore Airlines will begin a codeshare agreement on flights between Stockholm and Singapore. The route, which operates via Moscow, will have five departures per week. SAS and Singapore Airlines already have cooperation in place on the Copenhagen-Singapore route. The route will be operated by an Airbus A350-900.

The airlines are both members on Star Alliance, the frequent flyer alliance of airlines. Air miles earned on one airline can be used on the other to buy free flights or upgrade between cabin classes (e.g Economy to Business Class). EuroBonus is the SAS loyalty program, while SInagpore Airlines offers KrisFlyer. Miles can be used for other, non-flight relate rewards, such as discounted hotel stays.
